Together we can make a difference

About the Pride in Penrith Lottery

We are Penrith’s community lottery. We run weekly draws costing just £2 a week to enter, and all our profits after expenses are given to local good causes as grants.

We’re here to help the organisations that make our community a great place to live and work. We also support events and initiatives that make Penrith and the wider area an attractive and vibrant place.

The lottery was set up in July 2010 in association with Penrith Chamber of Trade and Commerce and with the support of many local businesses. It gives local people the chance to contribute to the wellbeing of the area, as well as making our lucky winners that little bit wealthier!

Here's a word from our chairman, Rob Udale

"As someone who was born and bred in Penrith and spent all their life here, I think the lottery is a fantastic way to support people in their efforts to improve the town and strengthen our community.

Like most residents, I want to see our town continue to improve, both in its general appearance and in the number of local initiatives, events and community projects going on. We're lucky to have quite a few organisations in the town and beyond who are working hard to improve our area and support our communities.

The lottery gives everyone a way to contribute and pull together to help make the change. Over the past five years since the lottery began, we've made a real difference to our community. Many local residents will have benefitted directly or indirectly from our grants to clubs, charities and events in our area. Have a look at our Who We’ve Helped section to see all the groups who’ve received grants from us over the years. And we've also rewarded many of our members with prizes along the way!

Please join us and help us to keep making a real difference to Penrith and our wider locality. With your help and support we can do much more. It costs just £2 a week to be in with a chance to win up to £5,000, while supporting your community. It's your town and your area, so join us and help shape its future."
